Turbine XL Paranoia

The Turbine Paranoïa once again pushes the envelope to take us on a whole new wild ride. For the first time, it’s the 12-blade Turbine, and not the dial below, which carries the décor. Creating a new optical illusion, the Turbine bears an “infernal spiral” and whirls us into a surrealist universe where the real and the imaginary meet and merge. When it starts to move, the ribbon that appears coils and uncoils in an infinitely alternating sequence. A few seconds of observation will be enough to hypnotize your gaze and to blur your view of the world around you. Everything will appear to be twirling around, and it is up to each observer to perceive what they dream of. When night falls, Superluminova lights up the stage, as the luminescent material applied to the spiral, the numerals and the hour-markers takes on its full intensity. The resulting show is truly stunning.

PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating

The PVD coating used by Perrelet is a high technology coating made by ion bombardment in vacuum. It is a 2-micron thick layer of carbon that has a very high wear resistance and antifriction coefficient. Its hardness offers at the same time a silky aspect particularly adapted to the Perrelet product line.
